JAN 13. MON. Leave to Discover Thailand
JAN 14. TUE. Arrive Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. You will be met and escorted to your hotel
JAN 15. WED. Flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. Check-in at Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel, where the conference on On-Line Learning is scheduled from January 15-18.
After the conference on JAN. 18, you will take a flight from Chiang Mai to Bangkok and check into Century Park Hotel and join the group that arrived from North America yesterday (17th.)
JAN 16 2003 THU. Board a Northwest Airlines 747 and fly to Bangkok, capital of Thailand.
JAN 17 FRI. Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will be escorted to the Century Park Hotel.
JAN 18 SAT. After breakfast, a city tour highlights the Grand palace’s glided pavilions and majestic residence of Thai royalty. Tour Wat Phra Keo, site of the wondrous Emerald Buddha.
JAN 19 SUN. After breakfast, a Floating Market tour takes you on a cruise past the Temple of Dawn. Glide along the klongs (canals) amid the bustle of produce-laden boats.
JAN 20 and 21 ( MON and TUE ). Educational visits. to a school, a community center, a university, a rural development program etc.
JAN 22 WED. Free Day.
Tour of Grand palace and Wat Phra Keo for those who coming from Chiang Mai.
JAN 23. Thursday. Return flight home.
The North American delegation is invited and encouraged to present papers/workshops/poster on the conference theme.
Single room supplement for 11-day program: $285 and for the 8-day program $185
The cost does not include visa fee, some taxes and departure fees, etc. Breakfast is included on most days.
